March 3: Attention = Currency

“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.” Simone Weil

TEDxNewYorkSalon presents - “Attention = Currency”, A high-energy TED Capstone Salon to Social Media Week 2017 with new TEDxtalks from social media thinkers you'll want to hear from. Join us at the Andaz 5th Avenue Hotel, Friday, March 3rd, 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Through live TEDxtalks, video, art performance and audience participation as we aim to grow the impact that attention and integrity has on the social media marketscape.

We bring to the TEDx stage experienced social media expert, Brian Bunsen, founder and publisher of The Fourhundred Magazine and Gil Antolin of Luxury World Traveler. Join our salon-style discussion with a panel of thought partners like Louise Phillips Forbes of Halstead Property, LLC as well as performance artist King Saladeen who will rock the room before we adjourn to carry on the discussion at The Bar Downstairs, cellar level of the hotel. Canadian Film Center will give us a taste of their latest VR program, Small Wonders, currently showing at the Metropolitian Museum of Art to enhance our focus. Come join us to experience Attention as Currency.

Andaz 5th Avenue Hotel is at 485 5th Avenue directly across from the 42nd Street New York Public Library

REMIX SALONS

Our REMIX Salons happen about once per month and feature New York based TED speakers and experts as guest facilitators. An "only in New York" event,  REMIX salons connect our community to the best thinkers in New York in ways that allow a deeper exploration of a theme or topic as they participate in a dynamic and insightful discussion.

The brainchild of Gina Bria, who launched the Bodies of Water Remix salon in November 2017, Remix salons occur every 2 or so months. Watch this space for more updates.
